In compliance with Government instruction, regretfully, the committee of the Village Hall announces the temporary closure of the building to bookings and its regular users.

Back in March, it became clear that venues throughout the UK would have to close their doors in order to support the national effort to contain the Coronavirus and help prevent its spread. Essentially, we must prioritise the health and wellbeing of our vulnerable groups as well as the community at large. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our regular groups and users of the Hall for their understanding in this matter.

As a registered charity, the Hall relies on fund-raising events, such as its regular comedy nights, wine tastings and private hire to ensure its future at the heart of its community. To this end, we would like to thank those valued customers, too, for their cooperation amidst cancellations or postponed events. We very much hope to be able to look towards a more optimistic picture over the coming months and will continue to follow Government advice on this. We very much look forward to welcoming you all just as soon as it is safe and advisable to do so.

During this time, there will be regular visits to the building by committee and volunteers to complete necessary maintenance and cleaning work.

Please note that all valuables and bar stock have been removed.
